Masda Bending Center: A Rigorous End-to-End Process Ensuring Superior Equipment Quality

The performance foundation of a high-quality flexible bending center lies in the manufacturing process of its structural components. Masda has established a standardized production chain spanning from raw steel plates to the finished machine; strict control over every step ensures long-term operational precision and structural stability.

From Raw Materials to Welding: Solidifying the Machine's Foundation

Raw materials undergo inspections for thickness, material composition, and flatness upon arrival. They are cut using laser technology and then leveled to eliminate internal stresses caused by cutting, with weld joints precisely beveled. Specialized tooling and fixtures are used for positioning and assembly, followed by CO2 shielded welding and submerged arc welding to construct the machine body and uprights.
After welding, slag is removed, and a critical post-weld annealing process is performed for stress relief. This replaces traditional natural aging for castings, maximizing the release of residual welding stresses and minimizing the risk of deformation during subsequent machining and operation.

Precision Machining: Locking in Core Accuracy

The machine frame undergoes sandblasting and shot blasting to remove oxide scale, followed by the application of an anti-rust primer. Rough and finish machining are carried out sequentially; CNC gantry milling machines mill and grind guide rail surfaces and mounting reference planes, strictly controlling core accuracy metrics such as parallelism and perpendicularity.

Coating, Assembly, and Rigorous Testing

After defects are ground and repaired, intermediate and top coats are applied. Components—including guide rails, ball screws, motors, and CNC/hydraulic units—are assembled in sequence. The machine undergoes load testing and continuous operation tests (both no-load and full-load), along with multiple precision re-checks. Only after passing all inspections is the unit packaged and shipped, delivering reliable sheet metal bending equipment.
